Bruce Springsteen and his 1950s Fender Esquire

Put the scrubber bar (time bar) at minute 2:50 and watch Bruce Springsteen unleash his BadLands solo onto the crowd. The sound and video recording isn't great - but classic Boss is always worth the viewing.

Many a musician has created a legendary instrument by adopting a specific instrument and making it their staple. The electrifying Bruce Springsteen has made the 1950's Fender Esquire into his iconic staple over the years, making it a hot item to have for guitarists all over the world. Bruce has consistently stated is the best guitar he has ever played. Its initial appearance on 1975’s Born to Run arguably turned on more budding rockers to the simple pleasures of the Esquire and Telecaster than any other influence, and it has subsequently made a showing on the albums Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Live 1975-85Human Touch and Greatest Hits.

Don't forget Bruce's upcoming tour. If you are going to be there - take some pics and we will upload them to our Facebook page. Come into Wild West Guitars and test out the amazing Fender selection that we have. We are here ready to hear you wail Born to Run rendition!
